Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Aussie Playcrest uses cookies and similar browser storage at aussieplaycrest.com. We are an Australian editorial guide to digital entertainment and third-party gaming platforms. Our current storage remembers your privacy choice; it does not create a gaming account or record the games you play.
You can read our editorial content whether you accept or reject optional storage. This document explains what is saved, how long it stays and how to change your decision.
1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text value saved by your browser for a website. Depending on its settings, the browser sends that value with later requests to the same site. Cookies can have an expiry period, so they may remain after you close a tab.
Local storage, also called localStorage, keeps values within your browser for a particular website origin. Unlike a cookie, it is not automatically attached to each web request. Site code reads it when needed. Clearing cookies alone does not necessarily remove local storage.
We use these mechanisms to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional storage. The saved value represents that choice. It is not a game account identifier, password or payment record. Different browsers, devices and browser profiles hold separate copies of site data.
2. Storage used by this site
The inventory below lists the storage currently used by Aussie Playcrest. Both entries support the same consent preference. No optional analytics or advertising trackers are currently used. Selecting acceptance therefore does not, by itself, introduce an additional tracking service.
| Name and type | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| aussieplaycrest_consent_v1 localStorage | Aussie Playcrest | Remember whether you accepted or rejected optional storage. | Necessary preference storage | Until cleared by you or site code. |
| site_cookie_consent Cookie | Aussie Playcrest | Remember your consent choice as accepted or rejected. | Necessary preference storage | 31,536,000 seconds (365 days) from being set. |
These are first-party entries, provided by this site. Changing your choice updates the preference rather than creating a separate browsing history. Browser settings or clearing site data can remove an entry sooner than the duration shown.
Links to external game sites take you to independent services. Those services have their own storage, consent controls and privacy policies. Your Aussie Playcrest choice does not set preferences on another website; review its information before using its features.
3. Managing your choices
On your first visit, the privacy panel offers equally accessible options to accept or reject optional storage. Either choice saves a preference so the panel can stay closed during later visits in the same browser. Necessary preference storage remembers a rejection as well as an acceptance.
To review or withdraw acceptance, select Cookie settings in the footer of any page. This reopens the existing privacy panel. Choose Reject optional storage to save a rejection, or Accept optional storage to save acceptance. Manage choices provides an explanation of the current storage use.
A saved change applies to subsequent visits and navigation on this site in that browser. It does not clear data held by external sites or change another device's settings. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent access to our articles or platform comparisons. You can return to the footer control whenever your preference changes.
4. Browser controls
Your browser also lets you inspect, block or delete website data. Menu names differ, but the following approach works across common desktop and mobile browsers:
- Open the browser's Settings and find Privacy, Site settings or Cookies and site data.
- Locate aussieplaycrest.com in the list of stored website data.
- Remove its cookies and local storage, or clear all site data for this domain.
- Reload this site and make a fresh choice in the privacy panel.
Blocking cookies alone may leave local storage intact. To reset the preference completely, remove both types of data. Clearing all browsing data can also remove preferences for unrelated websites, so check the selected scope before confirming.
Private browsing commonly discards site data when the private session ends. Browser protection tools may also restrict storage. If your browser cannot retain the choice, the panel may appear again. A choice made on a phone does not automatically transfer to a laptop, another browser or a separate browser profile.
5. Policy updates
This policy takes effect on . We review it when storage mechanisms, providers or purposes change. The effective date identifies the version you are reading.
Before introducing optional storage, we will update the inventory and explanation and seek appropriate choices through the site's consent controls. An existing acceptance should not be read as permission for every future purpose. Check this page when reviewing your settings. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable Australian law.
